SVJCT Sports Academy arranged various Summer Camps for Athletics during April and May 2024. Number of renowned coaches brought their teams in SVJCT Sports Complex for rigorous Athletics training. Around 350 athletes from Mumbai, Thane, Dombivali, Kolhapur, Sambhaji Nagar and Satara participated in the camps.

Athletes practiced on international standard synthetic track and made use of Swimming pool and Gymnasium within SVJCT Sports Complex as a part of their training. Some of the national level athletes like Laxmi Aruri, Mehli Boravle, Janhavi Patil and Shradhha Rajbhar attended the training under the coaching of Yogesh Satam. These athletes expressed immense satisfaction for the facilities provided by SVJCT Sports complex.

Renowned coach, Nilesh Patkar from Achievers Sports Club, Thane conducted a month long training camp. Various state level upcoming athletes were guided by Nilesh Patkar. A workshop was organized for sports teachers from various schools where various new techniques in Athletics were discussed.

National and International athletes like Mikila Surve, Shreshtha Shetty, Atharva Bhoir and Smit Sarode also participated in the summer camp. Facilities like Swimming pool, Kabaddi and khokho ground, excellent residential and food arrangements helped the athletes to perform well in their practice sessions. Nilesh Patkar mentioned that these facilities will definitely help the athletes to prepare well for State level athletics championship to be held at Nagpur.
